The Paws Project celebrates the huge variety of dogs we share our lives with and recognising that every dog has a story.
Over the course of the project, I photographed 62 dogs from 45 households. The goal was to reflect the wonderful diversity of dogs in Wellington, while reminding people that any dog can end up in need of a new home, no matter their background, size, or breed.
All of these portraits have come together in a 2026 charity calendar, with 100% of proceeds donated to Ellie’s Canine Rescue to support their incredible work rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming dogs in need.
You can also choose to add on a mini session with me, with 50% of the session fee being donated to Ellie’s too – the perfect additional Christmas gift!
