In case it helps, here’s some answers to common questions I receive, but please feel free to reach out with any query.

  • That’s absolutely no problem – in fact, most of the dogs I photograph stay on-lead for their entire session. Safety is always the priority, and with a bit of editing magic, leashes and collars can be removed seamlessly in the final images.

    Harnesses are also completely fine to use if that’s what your dog needs; just keep in mind they generally can’t be removed in editing. If your dog requires a harness, I’m happy to suggest very quiet locations where we’re unlikely to run into others – allowing us the option to briefly remove the harness in a few safe, stationary spots to capture those clean, timeless portraits.

  • Yes! If your dogs are part of the same household, you’re welcome to include them in the same session – whether you have two or five. I allow plenty of time to work with each dog’s personality and pace. If you're booking a Signature Session, there's space to include the whole furry family (and even a human or two, if you'd like!).

  • Absolutely! While dogs are my main muse, I’m happy to photograph other pets too – whether that’s a cat, rabbit, horse, or something more unusual. The same care, artistry, and attention goes into every portrait, no matter the paws or hooves involved.

  • Yes, I’m available to travel within New Zealand and internationally for Signature Sessions and special projects. Travel within the Wellington region (including Upper Hutt, Lower Hutt, Porirua, and the city) is included. Outside of that, travel is available at cost – just let me know where you're based and I’ll be happy to chat through the options.
